Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been an Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for more than 20 years. She founded The Huffington Post, is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington is an author and television host, as well as philanthropist as well as the owner and publisher of The Huffington Post. She was born in Greece then moved to England at age sixteen. In Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA in economics. The infamous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first president and she took it at the age of 21. After graduation she made her mark as a conservative syndicated columnist and, with the launching of The Huffington Post' few years later, she launched an online voice platform that provided critical views about the current political climate. The celebrity she enjoyed allowed her to persuade a number of stars to voice their views regarding current affairs, the as well as politics and culture. Arianna was famous after she was elected as an independent in California recall elections in order to replace Governor Davis. Elli was the son of Konstantinos, a Journalism and management expert. Her life was shaped by her closeness to her mother and her bond with her father despite her being very close to the latter. In her early years, she displayed her leadership skills for which she's still known. At 16 years of age she emigrated back to United Kingdom to pursue her education and was enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debate club. As the third woman president and first foreigner, she held the position of head for the Cambridge Union. In 1972 she graduated with a master's degree in Economics. Following her graduation, she became an editor of the critic's column and a television host. She was on the show with Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she began writing her own books with his help.
